Adopt a Coral and Support Our Cause.
For $50, you can symbolically adopt a coral fragment in our nurseries, where it will grow under the care of our team before being outplanted onto the reef. We have 14 nursery locations around Bonaire and Klein Bonaire, with the capacity to grow over 25,000 corals at any given time. Our nursery corals require regular care by RRFB staff, dive shop instructors, and volunteers – and after 6-9 months, they’re outplanted back to the reef! More than 65,000 corals have already been outplanted back to the reef where they’re monitored periodically.
Your adoption allows us to keep growing – setting higher goals, using new techniques, and expanding our capacity for coral restoration on Bonaire!

Looking to make an even bigger impact?
You can also adopt a full coral nursery tree, or even an outplanted coral thicket! Our coral nursery tree’s contain up to 100 corals and are constantly cleaned, pruned and maintained by our staff and volunteers. And with an outplanted coral thicket, your corals will hopefully be growing for years to come!
Reef Renewal Foundation Bonaire is a non-profit, non-governmental organization located in Bonaire. We have an official ANBI-status as designated by the Dutch Tax Administration (RSIN 825690468), and are accredited as a CAF America Validated Organization. Our Fiscal Identification Number is 303074802. RRFB is also a registered Global Giving non-profit organization as of 2024.
